Our Story

I grew up in Arsdley/Glenside, in a family of traditional Italian masons who taught me to work with concrete, stone, brick, block, stucco and pointing. As a teenager, I helped my father with masonry jobs, and I also saved up to buy a commercial mower so that I could start my own lawn-mowing business.

My love of working outside and gardening led me to study horticulture at Temple University, where I earned a B.A in 2001. During college and after graduating, I worked part time for seven years with a reputable landscape designer while running my own general landscape maintenance business and working with my father on weekends doing masonry.

While I still provide landscape maintenance services, my primary focus now is landscape design, my true passion. I love creating unique gardens that draw on my knowledge of horticulture and especially on my familiarity with our area’s native plants and trees. To complement and enhance the gardens, I design and install landscape lighting as well as hardscaping, incorporating expert masonry features and structures such as bluestone, full stone and veneer, concrete pavers, brick and block work, and masonry restoration.

I am committed to creating landscaping and hardscaping that are both attractive and functional, and that allow homeowners and their families to enjoy their outdoor spaces with a minimal amount of maintenance. I will work closely with you to define your personal vision for your property so that we can make it into a reality.
